Choosing a Venue — Banquet Hall Pros

Pros

  • Banquet Halls are generally small businesses, and we 100%
    should support small businesses.
  • Banquet halls allow you to bring in your own vendors (caterer, décor, dj, photo, officiant). At some halls you are even allowed to bring in your own drinks, if you have a certified bar tender, this is a huge money saver.
  • Generally, you have early access to a banquet hall, sometimes even given access the day before to drop off items or set up, as long as there is no event going on, this makes things easier for the couple, vendors and the venue.
  • Banquet Halls typically do not charge per person -if you have 50 guest or 100 guests, generally the price remains the same and there is a flat venue fee (Generally).
  • Banquet halls are more flexibility with everything — You don’t need to go through the captain, who need to go through to the supervision, who needs to go the assistant manager, who then needs to get permission through the banquet manager — generally you can get an answer to a questions immediately from the manager on site or from the owner directly.
